CEO and Principal HR Consultant
Casey Mizell completed her Juris Master degree from FSU College of Law in Legal Risk Management & HR Compliance in 2020. She has 20+ years of strategic operational HR experience across a wide range of industries. She has been the owner of multiple businesses, worked in the corporate world and is now sharing her skills to assist other business owners and nonprofits.
Raised in the Atlanta, GA area within a working class family, Casey was the first of her immediate family to go to college. She lived on her own from age 17 and worked full time to support herself while going to school. She started at a community college and later transferred to Georgia State University in Atlanta to finish her Bachelor degree in 2003. In addition to her law degree, she has completed multiple HR certification programs and courses in subjects such as Negotiations, Change Management and Situational Leadership.
She is happily married to her husband Alex and lives on Amelia Island in Florida with their dog Butternut. Her hobbies include camping, kayaking, cycling and taking walks with her husband and Butternut.
